Cathy Arbon has joined Anglia Supply Chain Recruitment, with a role of extending its reach to include the shipping, transport and logistics industry.
Her experience of 20 years at Fred. Olsen provides a unique platform to offer recruitment services to East Anglian businesses while her personal values also mesh well with the Anglia Recruitment Group's focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and promoting East Anglia as a place to live and work.
She is due to becomes president of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce on June 30 and she is also a driving forces behind Suffolk Business Women, a networking group that promotes and encourages female professionals and entrepreneurs.
She also enthusiastically supports the community, working with Disability Care Enterprise (a Suffolk-based charity supporting disabled people), and is a member of the Suffolk Advisory Committee for the Ministry of Justice (recruiting Suffolk's Justices of the Peace). She also mentors 14 to 16-year-olds at a local school with “learning about work” days and interview techniques.
