A SUFFOLK-BASED chiropractor has scooped a national quality award.

Michael Bailey, of the Stowmarket Chiropractic Health Clinic was awarded the ‘Patient Partnership Quality Mark’ (PPQM) by The College of Chiropractors.

He accepted his award at The Royal Society in London from Hew Helps, Chair of the College’s Lay Partnership Group.

The PPQM award was launched in 2006 by the College of Chiropractors to recognise excellence in meeting the expectations patients have about their chiropractic care.

Michael Bailey said: “Chiropractors provide safe and effective treatment, and we are proud to say that the award of the Patient Partnership Quality Mark recognises this clinic’s commitment to meeting and exceeding patients’ expectations of their treatment environment and care. At the Stowmarket Chiropractic Health Clinic we constantly strive to improve our level of service and always welcome feedback from patients.”

Mr Bailey has almost 20 years’ experience as a chiropractor, and opened the Stowmarket clinic four years ago. In 2008 he was joined by Marie Broodryk, a chiropractor, and Judith Gunion, a massage therapist.
