A Colchester-based leprosy charity said it was “delighted” at the response after hosting its first local business networking breakfast.
Lepra hosted sessions on best practice in corporate social responsibility and on digital marketing as guests gathered at its head office.
Lepra major partnerships manager Daisy Turner said the event had gone well.
“It was an excellent opportunity to come together and learn best practice in some really important fields within the business environment,” she said.
Guests were also able to learn more about our work to beat leprosy in India, Bangladesh and Mozambique.”
Tracey Fribbins, account manager at CI Business Solutions, said: “The networking event was one of the best that I’ve been to as guests were able to learn something new in areas which can sometimes be overlooked by businesses.”
