BUSINESS travel specialist Gray Dawes, which is based in Colchester, has received an international award from travel and expense management systems group KDS.

Gray Dawes was presented with the KDS Now! 2013 Excellence Award during the KDS Now! 2013 Conference, which was held in Paris.

The award was made in recognition of Gray Dawes’ implementation of unified online travel and expense technology on an international basis.

Gray Dawes has worked in partnership with KDS for more than 12 years in the development of its industry-leading online travel management system gdbookonline and more recently in the development of its integrated expense management solution that was launched in 2012.

Suzanne Cockburn, chief executive of Gray Dawes, said: “We are really delighted to receive this award as it demonstrates our commitment to delivering totally integrated travel and expense management solutions to our clients as they increasingly recognise the importance of controlling costs at all levels within their business.

“We are very excited about the recent launch of KDS Neo that promises to add another dimension to travel and expense programmes with its ability to deliver complete door to door itineraries, predict related expenses and ensure greater budget control.”
