ESSEX law firm Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP, which has offices in Colcheter, Chelmsford and Clacton, has handed over a cheque for �7,000 to the Colchester Breast Cancer Charitable Fund.
The money was raised after FJG joined forces with Coutts to host a charity ladies luncheon event at Le Talbooth, Dedham, in September.
The event, compered by TV presenter Becky Jago, attracted more than 100 guests and the funds generated will go towards the purchase of two digital mammography machines.
Tony Fisher, senior partner at FJG, said, “We are thrilled with the amount of money that was raised through this event for such a worthy cause and delighted that we have been able to show our continued commitment to raising money for local charities.
“FJG have a longstanding commitment to the local community and we will continue to support lifesaving local charities like Colchester Breast Unit Charitable Fund”.
