East of England Co-op Funeral Services has opened its 60th branch in the region with a new outlet in Lowestoft.
The business’ latest branch, located on Westwood Avenue, is the organisation’s second unit in the town.
It will be managed by funeral director and former Lowestoft mayor Nick Webb, who says he intends to work closely with partner Sarah Webb, who runs the Co-op’s existing branch on Oulton Road.
Mr Webb said: “It is an absolute privilege to open the East of England Co-op’s 60th branch”.
East of England Co-op Funeral Services has facilities across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and last year expanded into Cambridgeshire for the first time with a new funeral services branch in Ely.
The new Lowestoft branch will provide funeral arranging services, guidance on monumental masonry and information on pre-paid funeral plans.
