Easton and Otley College is delighted at its performance at the Royal Norfolk Show, following on from one of its most successful Suffolk Shows.
Students picked up a first prize in the young handlers class, and a host of sheep and cattle awards, including best ram, male champion, reserve breed champion, Norfolk special, three firsts, a second and two thirds.
It ran activities including sports challenges and the chance to see animals from corn snakes to cockroaches up close. Public services students took on a charity challenge for SERV, floristry students handed out button holes on the Federation of Small Businesses stand and the college welcomed their supporters and stakeholders to its main stand for afternoon tea.
Agricultural student Tom Davey from Boxford in Suffolk said he had enjoyed the experience. Principal Jane Townsend said she was “incredibly proud” of staff and students.
