Enterprise Agency Menta will be celebrating its achievements of the past 12 months, and officially welcoming its new chairman, at a reception in Bury St Edmunds tomorrow.

The event, being sponsored by Signpost 2 Grow, a new business support service from the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership, follows on from the Menta Trade Fair, taking place at The Apex in Bury from noon.

Alex Till, chief executive of Menta, said: “Menta has had another great year, helping more people grow their businesses in Suffolk.

“The reception is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate this work, to publically acknowledge the support of our patrons and sponsors as well as formally welcome Menta’s new chairman, Alistair Ponder.“

Laura Welham-Halstead, from the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP, said: “Signpost 2 Grow is a new service from the LEP that gives local businesses access to the wide range of business support, advice, and grants available to help them grow.”

“We are delighted to sponsor the Menta evening reception to give businesses the opportunity to meet our Signpost 2 Grow team at the same time as networking with like-minded businesses, whilst celebrating the excellent work Menta carries out day in day out for local businesses.”

Drinks and canapés at the reception are being prepared and served by hospitality students from Edmunds, the West Suffolk College catering facility, as part of their ongoing training.
