Famiily fund restaurant chain Giraffe has opened a new outlet at Stansted Airport.
It is among several new offers forming part of an £80million transformation of the airport’s main terminal.
Giraffe joins names such as Starbucks, Burger King and Leon in the international departure lounge with a host of new openings also including popular favourites Pret a Manger and The Windmill Pub, plus new tastes itsu, Cabin, Coast to Coast, Harris + Hoole and Halo champagne bar, with the first ever James Martin Kitchen following soon.
Beth Brewster, retail director at Manchester Airports Group, which owns Stansted, said: “Giraffe is a very exciting brand and I’m delighted to welcome their international tastes on to the menu at Stansted as part of our £80m transformation to upgrade facilities and provide passengers with more choice.
“With a menu ranging from schnitzel to stir fry; quesadilla to ribs; gourmet sandwiches, speciality burgers and a hearty all day breakfast there really is a taste to suit all appetites and the first giraffe at Stansted is a very welcome addition to our new and exciting line up cafes, bars and restaurants.”
