WEST Suffolk-based leaflet label specialist Fix-a-Form International has received a top award for overseas business. The Bury St Edmunds-based company won the Global Business category in the 2008 BPIF/Printing World Excellence Awards 08, organised by the British Printing Industries Federation and industry publication Printing World.

WEST Suffolk-based leaflet label specialist Fix-a-Form International has received a top award for overseas business.

The Bury St Edmunds-based company won the Global Business category in the 2008 BPIF/Printing World Excellence Awards 08, organised by the British Printing Industries Federation and industry publication Printing World.

Fix-a-Form, which had developed technology for applying multi-page leaflet labels to a wide range of products, currently generates more than 90% of its turnover from outside the UK with licensees in 26 countries across the globe manufacturing locally under licence.

Its status as a global player was further cemented recently with the appointment of Win Label as licensse in China and joint venture with Indian licensee Unick.

Andrew Denny, managing director of Fix-a-Form, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have received this award. We are proud to be a British manufacturer with a highly skilled team offering quality products and services to a global network of clients.”

The awards ceremony, hosted by BBC News presenter Emily Maitlis, was held the Hilton Hotel, London, with around 500 guests from some of the worlds major printing companies present. Neil Edwards of category sponsor Pyramid Consultancy presented the award to Andrew Denny, accompanied by Fix-a-Form general managerAlan Bonnett and client support executive Stephen Moore.
