Beer enthusiasts are in for a treat next week as Bury St Edmunds brewer Greene King is planning to make some exclusive beers available for visitors to the 27th East Anglian Beer and Cider Festival.

The UK’s largest cask ale brewer is aiming to feature some one-off exclusive brews, not available in cask before, especially for the CAMRA event, which takes place between April 18 to 21 at the Apex Centre in Bury.

They include the 6.5% Heritage’s Vintage Fine Ale and Double Hop Monster, a 7.2% abv blonde golden beer.

Greene King will also be running a competition for visitors to guess the hops in an unnamed beer for a the chance to win a private tour of the historic Westgate brewery with the master brewer, Craig Bennett.

Greene King brewing & brands managing director Clive Chesser said: “We wanted to give our loyal consumers something a bit special for this year’s festival.”
