PARTNERS at East Anglian chartered accountants Ensors Helen Rumsey and Ian Brookman have passed the Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) to become only the second and third holders of the qualification in Suffolk.
PARTNERS at East Anglian chartered accountants Ensors Helen Rumsey and Ian Brookman have passed the Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) to become only the second and third holders of the qualification in Suffolk.
The qualification, which acknowledges expertise and experience in charity accounting and financial management, is administered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Ms Rumsey and Mr Brookman have worked in the not-for-profit sector for many years and look after a significant number of local charities and independent schools.
As experts in their field, they provide the local media with regular articles and comment on a wide range of financial matters affecting the not-for-profit sector.
Ms Rumsey sits on the audit committee at Otley College and Mr Brookman is a trustee of two grant-making trusts.
