An Ipswich software development firm is celebrating the rapid growth of its workforce.
IJYI has grown by a third in a month due to the “phenomenal” success of the team, which has won multiple contracts.
Mark Lane and Venu Boya join as quality engineers, Oliver Lynch, David Freeman and Alex Conway as senior developers, and Gemma Brown as executive assistant.
The firm, which was launched in 2014 and specialises in software development, DevOps and cloud services, is a member of TechEast, whose aim is to make the East of England the next global tech cluster.

Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea-based law firm Thompson Smith and Puxon has said farewell to one of its directors after 37 years with the firm.
Clinical negligence solicitor Julian Wilson qualified as a barrister and joined TSP in 1981.
He became a partner in the firm and head of the litigation team in 1985 and was managing partner and finance director for 25 years to 2016. Among the notable cases he has worked on was legal landmark Barrett v Enfield London Borough Council which let to a change in the law on children in care.

Christopher Green has been appointed partner after just a year at the firm, working in commercial property, and specifically land development, Christopher. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the sector.

Steven has a wealth of hands-on experience in risk management and quality standards and has recently completed his National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) exam in health and safety leadership excellence.
He has more than 15 years’ experience in the logistics sector.
Managing director Miles Vartan said the appointment was part of a growth strategy.
