THE Centre for Arts and Design in the Environment (CADE), based in Writtle School of Design at Writtle College, has welcomed a new member to its team.

Imogen Collins' main role as creative outreach facilitator will be to provide outreach activities for CADE and to plan, implement and deliver an ongoing programme of creative and imaginative activities concerning environmental art and design to a diverse range of groups.

With her background in art and design, skills sharing and communication, she is keen to welcome groups to Writtle College and develop close relationships with local communities to promote the arts and design for cultural, social and economic benefits.

Her aim is to build strong connections with local schools, colleges, voluntary and governmental organisations such as healthcare providers. Organised visits and activities will be focused mainly on the college campus and resources but she will also be participating and initiating events in the wider region.
