Realise Futures in Ipswich wins contract to pack gifts for Suffolk brewer Adnams.
Social enterprise Realise Futures has been awarded a contract to package beer and gift packs on behalf of well-known Suffolk brand Adnams.
Realise Futures Fulfilment operates out of a factory in Lovetofts Drive, Ipswich, and it trades with a social mission to support people who are disadvantaged and/or disabled.
The team has been packing Adnams beer, chutney and glasses, to fulfil gift pack orders..
Operations manager Lee Caraccio said: “We receive Adnams products along with flat-pack boxes and it’s the team’s job to make up the gift packs, label them and load them on pallets. All the team are proud to be packing for such a great Suffolk brand like Adnams. We are especially looking forward to doing Father’s Day gift packs in a few months’ time.”
He added: “Our speciality is doing this type of work and our customers not only appreciate that this is a job they can easily outsource to us – enabling them to concentrate on what they are good at - but they also see the value of the work we do in helping people who are disabled or disadvantaged.”
Adnams operations manager Nathan Bartlett said: “We started working with Realise Futures last year when we had a significant re-pack job come in and it required a quick turnaround, which we were unable to fulfil internally. Realise Futures were able to facilitate this for us at short notice and worked to our exact specification.
