Ipswich Building Society will be opening a new Woodbridge branch on Tuesday, February 27, from 10am.
The society, which is celebrating its 30th year in the town, has relocated to new premises in the Thoroughfare where there will be more room for customers and staff, and to host member and community events. It will also host estate agency service Nicholas Estates.
The investment is part of the society’s commitment to maintaining its branch services. It follows the January launch of its new flagship branch, Mutual House in Princes Street, Ipswich.
Chief executive Richard Norrington said: “I am delighted that we are moving into larger, more comfortable premises. We know our members still want and need a face to face service and with this move and the opening of our new Ipswich town centre branch, Mutual House, last month, we are proud to be bucking the trend.”
