AN expert in organisational performance has been appointed by manufacturers' organisation EEF to manage the delivery of services to manufacturers across the south east.

Jim Davison, who takes up the role of operations manager at EEF, was previously with the Manufacturing Advisory Service (South East), where he was responsible for a team of specialists delivering a wide range of business improvement services.

He will be responsible for ensuring the coordinated delivery of EEF support to member companies across London, the South and East from his base in Hook, Hampshire. The organisation employs some of the region's leading experts in employment law, health, safety and environment, information and research and business improvement.

Mr Davison said he was “delighted” to be taking up the new challenge.

“In the current trading environment, it is vital that manufacturers have access to high quality support. My key objective is to ensure that our members derive maximum benefit from their EEF membership and the services at their disposal.”
