A COLCHESTER-BASED charity has taken on two additional staff.
Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC) has recruited Jo Dean and Laura Taylor as more and more people call on its support.
Ms Dean, 22, who has a first class BA honours degree in event management, has been appointed events co-ordinator. She will ensure the charity can provide the best possible support to fundraisers at a series of events throughout the year including the Flora London Marathon.
MsTaylor, 28, joins as subscriptions administrator. She will be responsible for expanding subscriptions to the charity's popular New Pathways magazine.
MSRC, based on the Peartree Business Centre, is committed to supporting anyone affected by multiple sclerosis through access to unbiased information and advice.
MSRC chief executive Helen Yates said: “Events and our New Pathways magazine are two very important aspects of our business. With more and more people calling on our support, we feel we need to expand our team to provide the best possible service to those needing it. I am delighted that in Jo and Laura we have two very valuable additions to our team.”
