KELLY Sayers has resigned as vice chairman of Felixstowe Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
Ms Sayers, an employment law specialist at the Ipswich firm of solicitors Prettys, said increased professional commitments made it difficult to dedicate as much time as she felt necessary to offer real value to the chamber and its members.
Chamber chairman Peter Dawes said: “It's disappointing to lose members of the committee but as I always say, as volunteers the committee members' professional duties take priority.”
He added: “The committee and I would like to extend our thanks to Kelly for the work she did whilst withthe chamber and we look forward to welcoming whoever replaces her in the role.”
The chamber is inviting those interested in taking up the vacant post to contact them on 07747 773537 or at info@felixstowechamber.co.uk.
