Lavenham: A 15th Century hotel-restaurant has been awarded AA four Red Star status in recognition of its consistently high levels of hospitality and service
The Swan at Lavenham was presented with the prestigious ‘Inspectors’ Choice’ accolade, given to hotels that stand out as the best in their star rating, at an AA Awards Ceremony in the London Hilton Park Lane on Monday. General manager Ingo Wiangke said it was “wonderful” and testament to the team’s hard work.
It follows closely on the hotel’s Gold Award in the Large Hotel of the Year category at the highly respected Visit England Awards for Excellence 2013; the Swan also has two AA rosettes for its outstanding cuisine.
