A SITE manager at Reydon, near Southwold, is celebrating after scooping a regional award at the National House Building Council Pride in the Job awards 2008.

Lee Jacobs, site manager at Hopkins Homes' Blyth Place scheme, won the Eastern Regional Award for Medium-sized Builder after being selected from more than 18,000 entrants across the country.

He will now go forward to the National UK Supreme Awards in January 2009 where he will vie for top spot with finalists from the eight other regions.

Mr Jacobs said he was “extremely proud” to receive the award.

“My thanks go out to the entire team at Blyth Place for their hard work. We are very proud of the high standard of the new homes we continue to produce and look forward to maintaining these high standards as we continue to work together on this and other sites,” he said.
