A YOUNG Suffolk entrepreneur has been shortlisted for an award.
Anglia Ruskin University graduate Matthew Rider, of Haverhill, was chosen from hundreds of young hopefuls who entered the HSBC Unipreneur Awards after coming up with the idea of creating Musicians Jam Centre where young musicians and bands can 'jam' with like-minded artists.
His entry will now be considered by a panel of local business experts who will select 10 entries to go through to the national finals, which take place on April 23. The five finalists will be quizzed on stage by a panel of experts about why they deserve the first prize of £20,000.
