The inaugural Milsom Business Showcase saw around 100 guests meet in a marquee in the grounds of the company’s Le Talbooth restaurant in Dedham.

Businesses represented included AT&A insurance brokers, Ellisons Solicitors, Mr Wheeler wine merchants, Infusions catering, Banbury Howard marketing and the Hunnballs Family Funeral Group.

Emphasising that he likes business to be “fun”, Paul Milsom introduced the event, saying: “It’s a meeting and a party, and an opportunity to reach out to the business community - to suppliers and clients.”

Mr Milsom also took the opportunity to promote Colchester Hospital’s 2019 Club, a campaign to encourage businesses to raise £2,019 by next year to finance a new Cancer Centre.
