Men are welcome too at Businesswomen’s networking group
A supportive network for Suffolk businesswomen will return at a new venue, and the men are welcome along too.
The Ipswich and Felixstowe Businesswoman’s Network (BWN) will meet on September 14 at the Holiday Inn in Orwell at 10am. Thereafter the group will get together on the second Friday of the month, excluding school holidays.
The group offers a range of talks, masterclasses and informal networking that focuses on long-term relationship building. Men are also welcome to attend the group, says Ipswich and Felixstowe BWN co-ordinator Lisa Hardy: “The BWN is all about being passionate about the success of our members, and that means offering support and practical assistance to all our members – women and men.
“The reason we are named as such is because we feel that businesswomen can sometimes need a different, more relaxed space in which to network, build their business and even their confidence.
“Our masterclasses offer real, practical advice and tips that members can implement and see the results of, within their own businesses. The networking is informal, non-judgemental and really relaxed. In addition, there is no membership fee to join in.”
Businesses are invited to sponsor meetings and share their expertise in a masterclass.

Ms Hardy added: “Sponsoring one of our events, followed by giving a masterclass is a great way to build relationships and show just what your business can do for other members. If Suffolk businesses are interested they just need to give me a call.”
