A NEW arable conference jointly organised by the National Farmers’ Union East Anglia and East Midlands regions kicks off on November 9 at the East of England Showground in Peterborough.
The Eastern Arable Conference 2011 includes experts and politicians, including Professor Ian Crute, AHDB chief scientist, and chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology George Freeman MP.
Speakers will be talking about diverse areas from the red tape burden on farming to the place of biotechnology in farming.
The industry is worth about �2.6billion to the two regions.
