THE Suffolk Hotel Golf & Leisure Club in Bury St Edmunds has welcomed Nicolas Craninx as general manager.Mr Craninx, who worked his way up to general manager at Africa's largest hotel group, Protea Hotels, will head up a 50-strong team.
THE Suffolk Hotel Golf & Leisure Club in Bury St Edmunds has welcomed Nicolas Craninx as general manager.
Mr Craninx, who worked his way up to general manager at Africa's largest hotel group, Protea Hotels, will head up a 50-strong team.
He has 15 years' experience, both in the hospitality industry in South Africa and the Holiday Inn group in the UK, starting as a trainee in 1993.
He said he was “delighted” to be joining the hotel, which is part of national Oxford Hotels & Inns group.
Mark Edwards, managing director of Oxford Hotels & Inns said: “We are very pleased to welcome Nicolas to the Oxford Hotels & Ins team. He has a number of years' experience in the hospitality industry worldwide and therefore brings a great deal of knowledge to our business. We wish Nicolas and his family all the best in their new life in the region and I look forward to working with him and developing the Suffolk Hotel Golf & Leisure Club.”
