HSBC has appointed Ruth Leach to the new post of local business manager for the Ipswich area.Ms Leach has been with the banks since 1976, starting her career in Portsmouth as a clerk and moving home to Ipswich in 1999.
HSBC has appointed Ruth Leach to the new post of local business manager for the Ipswich area.
Ms Leach has been with the banks since 1976, starting her career in Portsmouth as a clerk and moving home to Ipswich in 1999. She worked in Colchester until 2004, when she took a role as a relationship manager in the Tavern Street branch in Ipswich. She then moved into Ipswich commercial centre as a commercial manager.
“The new role gives me the opportunity to work with my colleagues to help our local businesses grow. It is a challenge that I am looking forward to,” she said.
“Being in the front line and working locally, I will be able to spend time talking to our customers.”
When not at work, Ms Leach is involved with the Ipswich Choral Society and spends time with her husband going on motorcycle trips.
