STEPHEN Bird has been appointed as contract manager at construction firm Bluestone's Chelmsford office.Mr Bird, 39, joins from Jackson Construction Ltd in Ipswich, where he was construction manager for its public works division.
STEPHEN Bird has been appointed as contract manager at construction firm Bluestone's Chelmsford office.
Mr Bird, 39, joins from Jackson Construction Ltd in Ipswich, where he was construction manager for its public works division. He brings extensive experience of construction management in East Anglia and London to his new role.
“With major regeneration schemes like the Thames Gateway coming on stream, the construction market in the region is set for significant growth over the next few years,” he said.
“This is an exciting place to be.”
In his new role, he will be responsible for Bluestone's building projects in the Chelmsford area and developing the business.
He is married to Julia, and has two children, Emily, six, and Aaron, four.
