Canine Creche Group is to celebrate the launch of its latest franchised operation next month.
The original Suffolk Canine Creche, offering a home-from-home for dogs while their owners are away or at work, opened at Martlesham, near Woodbridge, in 2011 and the format is now being rolled-out around the county and beyond.
Franchises have already been launched in Bury St Edmunds and Lincoln, with another due to follow shortly in Needham Market.
A pre-opening event is to be held at site on Sunday, March 12, from noon until 4pm, when dog owners – and their dogs – will be welcome to drop in to view the facilities.
Group founder Candace Rose said: “We are thrilled to be launching our business model throughout
the UK.
“We have had an incredible response from the local community within Needham Market; clearly this is a service which is already greatly sought after.
“Initially we will offer day care services and puppy parties; additional services will also be added on at a later date.”
The Needham Market franchise tea, Julie and Arrin, have been based at the Suffolk Canine Creche “mother ship” for a few months, where they have been trained to operate to the group’s exacting standards, including the testing of dogs for temperament to ensure their suitability for the creche environment.
The Needham Market Canine Creche is located at Unit 15, Maitland Road, on the Lion Barn Industrial Estate. A fourth franchise has also already been sold, with more currently reserved.
Suffolk Canine Creche was a member of the 2015 cohort of the Future50 programme for up-and-coming businesses in Suffolk and Norfolk, and won the Customer Service and Future50 One to Watch awards at last year’s East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards.
Candace Rose added: “Our franchising project is very exciting. We intend to change the animal care industry
for the better across the UK, and we believe our awards and reputation demonstrate that we are the
organisation to do so.”
