Employees at the Suffolk-based TA Hotel Collection group have been taking part in a series of free mini-workshops on wellness.

Designed to encourage team members to take 30 to 40 minutes out of their daily routine to do something that makes them “feel good”, the workshops covered topics ranging from healthy eating, yoga, mindfulness and meditation to chocolate making and planting a herb garden.

They also included some pamper treatments from Weavers’ House Spa at the Swan at Lavenham and Bathsheba in Woodbridge as well as golf tuition at Thorpeness, all put together by professionals in their respective fields.

Deborah Tullett, group training manager at the TA Hotel Collection, said: “People are at the very heart of our business whether it is our guests, team members or business partners. This week was a wonderful opportunity to ‘give something back’ to our teams who consistently work hard in their commitment to provide a high level of service to our guests.”

Teams from the group’s five hotels took part in the mini-workshops including the Crown at Woodbridge, the Swan at Lavenham Hotel & Spa, Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel and the Brudenell and White Lion Hotels in Aldeburgh.
