Farmers near Debenham are set to bring outdoor cinema to their farm in what’s thought to be a Suffolk first.

The McVeighs of Kenton Hall Estate are set to host Film On a Farm from July 13 to 14. They will be showing the original Michael Caine film, The Italian Job, on Friday, July 13, following by Four Weddings and a Funeral on Saturday, July 14.

“We have teamed up with Film On a Farm to bring the great outdoor cinema experience to our farm in Suffolk. We are actually the only farm in East Anglia Film On a Farm currently work with,” said Lucy McVeigh.

The farm, which will also be hosting its annual food fair on June 23 featuring 35 Suffolk food and drink producers, will be offering locally-produced Longhorn burgers, pizza, icecream, tea and coffee, a bar and popcorn to cinema-goers.

Tickets cost £12. Visit www.kentonhallestate.co.uk/summerevents/outdoor-cinema/ or call 01728 862062.
