PR and communication businesses from Suffolk have been recognised at the regional Chartered Institute of Public Relations Pride awards held at the Guildhall in Cambridge earlier this week.

Ipswich PR agency Prominent PR was named Outstanding Small PR Consultancy in the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern region and also claimed gold for its work with Dedham-based company British Baby Box in the Low Budget Campaign category. The agency’s marketing manager Abi Gagen was named Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year.

Felixstowe-based Pier PR & Marketing also had success at the awards, picking up a gold in the Regional Campaign of the Year category for its work on the Sourced Locally Fortnight initiative with East of England Co-op, which aims promote the importance of shopping locally and to increase sales of products that have been sourced from local suppliers and sold in East of England Co-op stores.
