Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Tim Passmore will outline the steps being taken to tackle crimes against business at an event near Ipswich next month.
Mr Passmore will be guest speaker at a breakfast networking event organised by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), on Thursday, November 16, at the Ipswich Hotel, Copdock.
Those attending will also have the opportunity to build up their local business contacts in both structured and informal networking sessions, together with an update from the FSB on its forthcoming policy activities and events across Suffolk.
The event – part of FSB East Anglia’s monthly networking programme FSB Connect, which runs on the third Thursday of every month at the Ipswich Hotel – will run from 8am to 9.30am and is open both to FSB members and non-members. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite and include a breakfast buffet.
FSB development manager Andrew Mower said: “We’ve heard much concern from our members, in recent months, about the pressures that local police forces are facing, while the rising threat of cyber crime is also a priority issue**. We look forward to hearing from Tim on how Suffolk Constabulary is responding to these challenges.”
