Supporters and staff from the New Anglia Growth Hub today celebrated its first year of work.
The hub, delivered on behalf of New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) by Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, offers firms in Suffolk and Norfolk free access to a wide range of business support.
It was officially launched at the Suffolk Show last year, since when it has beaten its first-year target of providing support for 3,000 businesses.
Yesterday’s first anniversary celebration was again staged at the Suffolk Show, with Suffolk Chamber president Sarah Howard and New Anglia LEP chairman Mark Pendlington welcoming the guests.
Mr Pendlington thanked the growth hub team for their efforts and the wide range of organisations supporting the offer it provides, including UK Trade & Investment, the Manufacturing Advisory Service and Growth Accelerator as well as local bodies such as Eastern Enterprise Hub, Menta and Nwes.
