The Essex-based firm ‘Borrow a Boat’ is the brainchild of Matt Ovenden, a Brit who’s keen to dispel the myth that boating is for the privileged elite only. He’s rounded-up a fleet of more than 17,000 sumptuous yachts, available to hire in 60 countries around the world. These ‘Airbnb’ style boats will have you holidaying like an A-lister…for just £125-a-week. .

Japan is an emerging destination for Brit tourists, with recent research by the Post Office Holiday Money Report showing how expenditure by British visitors to Japan was up 42% in 2017 compared with 2016.
