An Essex businesswoman is launching a specialist bra fitting boutique today to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Julie Blanche is the founder of the Bra Consultancy, which is opening at the White Elm Garden Centre in Bicknacre, near Danbury on and offers a tailored, personal bra fitting service to women of all ages and backgrounds, including those who have fought breast cancer, and undergone mastectomies and had cosmetic surgery.

Julie has been offering this service for a while but this is her first outlet, which will be staffed by three fully trained bra fitters, including Maggi Paul, who fought breast cancer and sought out Julie’s help after a mastectomy left her with low self-esteem and unable to go out.

After getting help from Julie’s with a correct bra fitting, and able to choose from a selection of beautiful lingerie, Maggi, of South Woodham Ferrers, has transformed her life.

Julie said: “We are really excited about opening our very first shop - White Elm Garden Centre is the perfect place for The Bra Consultancy’s boutique.

“For the first time my clients will be able to see the range of bras we have on offer and combine their fittings and bra shopping in one place.”
