NEIL Prentice, managing director of Suffolk-based marketing and creative agency White Space Design, and Peter Cook, editor of BBC Radio Suffolk, are the newest members of Ipswich Town Community Trust’s board of trustees.

The two will strengthen the charity’s marketing and media skill base and the pair already have plans to help bring a higher profile to the work of the Trust.

As a keen member of the business community, with more than a decade of top class marketing expertise under his belt, Neil brings a private sector viewpoint to the board. He plans to couple his knowledge and network with his lifelong passion for the club to bring a fresh perspective to the team of trustees.

“Despite being a dedicated fan of Ipswich Town Football Club since the age of five, like most supporters I wasn’t fully aware of the extent or reach of the work that the Ipswich Town Community Trust does. I am extremely excited to be a part of that work and am looking forward to backing some projects that really make a difference” said Mr Prentice.

Mr Cook, who has been editor of BBC Radio Suffolk for more than three years and has a long career of broadcasting in the area, will also use his professional network to communicate the work the charity gets involved with.

“I feel really privileged to be working with such a prominent panel of trustees. The trust isn’t just about coaching courses; we work with people from all walks of local life to enhance the community,” said Mr Cook.
