Vineyard owners near Halstead are set to host a jazz event this weekend.
Following the success of a similar event last year, Tuffon Hall Vineyard in Castle Hedingham is presenting Jazz in the Vines 2017.
The afternoon of entertainment, which takes place at the vineyard from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday, August 26 features a celebration of wine and jazz with owners Pod and Angus Crowther.
Tickets cost £10 eac, and under 18s go free. The price includes a glass of award-winning wine, which visitors can enjoy strolling through the vineyard listening to a local jazz musician.
Children’s activities include a bouncy castle and face-painting. There will be lots of food on offer, from fresh oysters to paella to hot dogs, a pay bar serving wine and locally-brewed beer from Silks Brewery. For tickets contact Pod@tuffonhall.co.uk or go to Darkins, Spencer’s Farm Shop or Baythorne Wine Shop.
