EMPLOYERS' views are sought in a survey being carried out by a research centre at University Campus Suffolk.

Will Thomas, a research officer with the CREATE research centre asked firms which had not already take part in the survey, seen as an opportunity for employers to share information about economic growth and skills requirements, to contact them.

“It is really important that we are able to represent the views of as many employers as possible,” he said.

“We have been really pleased with the response so far, but we would love to hear from more businesses so that our report can really help to make a difference.”

CREATE has been commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council and the Haven Gateway Partnership to develop a model which will help predict the skills requirements of employers in the Haven Gateway region over the next eight to 10 years.

Employers wishing to take part should visit the Haven Gateway website at www.haven-gateway.org and click on the link. The survey will close on August 17 at 5pm.
