The Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has launched round 2 of the �20million Farming and Forestry Improvement Scheme.
Grants of up to �25,000 are available to help farmers, foresters and horticultural make their businesses more profitable while reducing the impact on the environment.
Schemes that can be funded include projects that save energy and reduce carbon emissions, reduce dependence on artificial fertilizers through better use of manures, improve soil quality, improve animal health and welfare, promote woodland management or save and recycle water
The round will close at 5pm on Tuesday July 17 2012.
