A village pub closed since January has re-opened under new owners following a £250,000 facelift.
The Swan at Westerfield, near Ipswich, is the sixth pub taken on by Deben Inns Ltd and includes a restaurant.
Deben Inns boss Steve Lomas said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to re-open this great site with such easy access to the north of Ipswich.
“We are really pleased with the first few days’ trading and have had a great response from the village and surrounding areas with some very positive comments on the refurb and the fact that an abandoned site is open again.”
The company also owns The Maybush at Waldringfield, The Butt & Oyster at Pin Mill, The Coach & Horses at Melton, The Fox at Newbourne and The Wilford Bridge in Melton.
