The new owners of long-established Woodbridge fashion store Adams Apple have unveiled a bright new look.
Beverley and Nick Horne, who acquired the business ? first launched 42 years ago ? in August, have been supported in the refurbishent by funding from NatWest under the Government’s Funding for Lending Scheme.
The refit has included the creation of larger fitting rooms, new display fittings and lighting and the removal of some partition walls to crate a more open sales floor.
Beverley said: “We did a lot of research into potential business lenders but thought NatWest had flexible lending criteria. When we met our relationship manager, Adrian Gray, for the first time he was incredibly enthusiastic about the potential of the business and worked with us to secure NatWest funding.”
She added: “Adrian’s initial enthusiasm and belief in us, gave us the confidence to go ahead. At a time when other lenders wouldn’t even consider the loan we needed, NatWest fully supported the venture with a loan and other business services.”
Adrian Gray said: “I am so pleased to have been able to support Beverley in this exciting new business venture. She has been working at Adam’s Apple for the past 13 years but now is her time to make it her own.
“I wish her and Nick luck in the future and have no doubt that the shop will be a success.”
