Businesses in east Suffolk are being asked to take part in a survey to help understand the challenges they face and how collaboration can help.

Suffolk Coast Business (SCB) is leading the project on behalf of Framlingham, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh and Leiston business associations to inform what their future direction will take and the services they will offer.

Alyson Tipping of the SCB said: “The aim of the survey is to understand the role of a business association in 2017 and to get a clear picture of what businesses would like their association to deliver.

“You do not need to be a business association member to complete the survey, it’s for everyone, whatever your business size or type.

“Everyone’s views are extremely valuable. Your feedback is important.”

Ms Tipping said that with the current dormancy of the Leiston Business Association it was crucial to understand what local businesses need and the challenges they face.

SCB, which is a community interest company working to “maximise opportunities” for businesses in the area, will use the results to inform future planning.

The survey runs until March 10 and can be found by visiting this site or going direct to the Survey Monkey page.
