Fire crews called to 40 acre stubble fire in East Bergholt

Fire crews have been called to another field fire in Suffolk - this time in East Bergholt.

Emergency services were called at around 12.30pm to a grassland blaze in Woodgates Road.

According to a spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, four fire engines are currently at the scene.

The spokesman said that 40 acres of stubble was well alight.

Crews are currently on the scene of field fires in Hadleigh and Mile End near Brandon.
