Are you in a position to be able to adopt one of these cute creatures from the RSPCA centre in Martlesham?
First up on our list this week is the 12-year-old Pongie Ponk, a sweet natured boy who enjoys lying in his bed and getting lots of attention from his human companions.
He is due to have an operation shortly where his ears will be cropped, although this will change his appearance, it will not change his loving, affectionate and sweet personality.
The RSPCA would be happy to support Pongie Ponk’s adopters with any ongoing treatment for any existing conditions, can you offer this fantastic feline the home he truly deserves?
How about adopting the nine-year-old Rottweiler, Jazz. A girl who adores the company of people and has so much affection to give.
She is a clever dog who is willing to learn and can easily be taught new things as she loves her food.
If you would like to adopt Jazz, be sure to have plenty of tennis balls at hand as she loves having a play with her toys.
Next on our list is the four-year-old Lurcher, Blue. An affectionate boy who enjoys the company of people as well as playing with his toys.
He would need a physically strong, committed owner who is willing to carry on with his training and he is looking for a more rural home where other dogs are limited.
Blue has had a behavioural consultation in his previous home by Lucy Bingley, who has provided a programme for him and is happy to continue to work with Blue in his new home.
Next up on our list is Milly, an affectionate feline who cannot wait to find a new home to settle into.
She loves nothing more than just laying around on a soft blanket and sleep the day away with the odd fuss in-between.
Milly has been at the centre for some time now and just can’t wait to find a new home to call her own.
How about adopting the five-year-old Jessie, a playful and energetic girlie desperate to find her new home to settle into.
She can have her moments showing a bit of cattitude but this is most likely down to the frustration from being in the cattery.
Do you have space in your home to give Jessie a second chance?
Last but by no means least on our list this week is Zara, the seven-year-old Bengal, a playful and energetic lady with lots of personality to go with it.
Zara is a Bengal cat who are notorious for being very noisy and vocal so someone with a tolerance of chatty cats would be best.
Before taking on Zara, be sure to research into what comes with a Bengal cat to get an idea what her personality.
The RSPCA assures families that all cats, dogs, ferrets and rabbits that are offered for adoption have been vaccinated, micro chipped and neutered.
An adoption fee of £150 for dogs, £60 for cats and £25 for rabbits and ferrets, is charged to help cover the cost of getting the animals ready for their new homes.
If you can help, call the RSPCA Suffolk East and Ipswich Branch on 0300 999 7321 9am until 4.30pm or contact them via email.
