AROUND 300 cannabis plants have been found in a house in Stonham Aspal today.
The cannabis factory - consisting of plants and associated growing equipment - was found at a property in The Street.
The factory was discovered after members of the public contacted police to report suspicions that the house was being used to grow drugs.
Most of the rooms in the house were filled with plants at varying stages of development.
Police are now clearing the property.
A 16-year-old boy from Stonham Aspal has been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and is in custody at Bury St Edmunds police station.
