Capel St Mary: Appeal made following spate of thefts from vehicles in Capel St Mary

Information is being sought after a car was stolen and several others broken into in Capel St Mary this weekend.

A silver Nissan hatchback was stolen from The Street, Capel St Mary, between 7pm on Saturday and 9.45am on Sunday. Inside the car was a set of keys, a debit card, and a child safety seat.

Also on The Street, a car was broken in to between 6pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday. A wallet, which had about £125 and several cards inside, was stolen. A second car on The Street was broken in to between 3pm on Saturday and 8.20am on Sunday but nothing was stolen.

A car was also broken into in Letton Close between 11am on Saturday and noon on Sunday. About £10 in cash and a Tom Tom sat nav were stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference number HD/14/1283.
