Emergency services were called to Hargrave after a car came off the road and into a garden.

It happened in Birds End at around 5.50am and involved a Honda CR-V.

The female driver of the car, believed to be in her 40s, was not seriously injured and did not need hospital treatment, an ambulance spokesman said.

Fire crews from Bury St Edmunds and Wickhambrook were called to the scene but the woman was out of the car by the time they arrived. Firefighters worked to make the area safe by 6.05am.

A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said the car had left the road and gone through a fence and porch.

The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance officer and an ambulance crew.
