Two people were taken to hospital after a car collided with a high voltage pole in Brockley.
The emergency services were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision on the B1066 (Bury Road), just past Mill Road, in the early hours of this morning.
Three fire engines attended the scene just after 12am, where two people were freed from a red Citroen that had collided with a high voltage telegraph pole.
The East of England Ambulance Service administered first aid at the scene before the casualties were taken to West Suffolk Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The pole was at one point “resting on the car” and blocking the road, according to Suffolk police.
The road was temporarily closed while the scene was cleared. A stop was called on the incident at 1.15am.
