A SECTION of a town car park had to be coned off today after a fire broke out in a car.
The incident behind North Street in Sudbury happened at 11.30am after a red Rover caught alight.
Firefighters cordoned off the area of the car park behind Jennings Bet bookmakers and used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the small fire.
Graeme Gould, crew manager, said: βIt was heavily smoke logged and it was fortunately it was a very small fire in a car park.β
